"Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned", you have the perfect husband, you have the perfect child, you have the perfect house, remember nothing or no one is perfect, now another woman wants what you've got...and she's obsessed. Have you ever been so into someone that it turned into an obsession? Have you ever been in an office romance?

Young professionals often spend more time at the office than at home. Consequently, there are a lot of single men and women who don't have the time to meet new people. Naturally, they seek their potential partners within their surrounding environment -- the office. Single people feel that work is a natural place to meet new people. Don't Put Your Hands On Me

Women, there is never a reason for anyone to put their hands on you. That also means ladies, there is never a reason for you to put your hands on a man.  We've all heard the stories and have been talking about the Chris Brown, Rihanna incident. It is a bad situation and I pray they are doing well and will rebound from this wiser. I interact with the teens from Generation Rap and teen dating and violence in relationships  has been a subject on the show. There are some Chris Brown fans on G Rap and I am curious to know what their comments are on this story. What do you tell your daughters and sons that are watching this play out in the media? I think this will effect the career of Chris Brown. He makes music for young women, his fan base. They will probably look at ...

Grammy Night

Another stellar performance from Jennifer Hudson. I am becoming a fan. Congratulations on winning her first Grammy as best R&B album.
She looked great as she accepted her award and thanked her family in heaven and on earth. I was blown away with her performance at the Superbowl as well as last night’s performance of "You Pulled Me Through" a testament to what doesn't kill us only makes us stronger. Moving on to Chris Brown and the alleged assault on Rihanna, what's ups with that. Not a good look for your fans Chris. If it gets that heated, just walk away. I enjoyed the duet between Al Green and Justin Timberlake who stepped in at the last minute because Chris Brown and Rihanna pulled out. I must admit, I haven't watched the Grammys the last few years because it was so predictable. Whoever performs usually wins the Grammy. This year ...

This Inauguaration means CHANGE

The United States of America is about to make history once again. The swearing in of the first African American President. With the inauguration only a few days away, I am so proud to be an American. I am so happy that I am able to see this in my lifetime. I am even more excited that my Mother and my five year old grand nephew are able to experience this moment in history. My grandparents and great grandparents growing up in Mississippi and Southeast Missouri did not have the right to vote. Since the passing of the 1964 Civil Rights Act and less than 50 years later an African American man has been elected President. I stress African American. I am so proud of how we all came together to make this change happen. We are all the United States of America. I want to remember the feeling the ...

Be Productive

What's up? I am always saying "Be Productive" today. So here are a few things to do to Be Productive! Check out a good movie like Not Easily Broken. I checked out the Hot 103Jamz screening. I am a hopeless romantic and this was a real feel good movie for us ladies. How about a new read. I'm reading The Kite Runner a story about true friendship. Remember we have to get our excercise on while listening to our favorite jamz. Get out and walk in the park or on the Plaza. What about that project you've been putting off. I need to do some painting around my house. I like spending quality time with my friends. What's productive about that? Well we get together and get caught up on each other's lives. Talk through some things we may be going through. Laugh, have a good meal and just connect. The ...
