TLC's Sisterhood's Ivy Couch Talks Reality TV, Religion and More!

There's some angry Christians about the show on TLC, "The Sistserhood"! In fact, a petition has started to get the network to give the show the ax. However, I know some P.K.'s (preacher's kids) and others in ministry who argue it shows a behind-the-scene look at the struggles everyone has.

Even first ladies.

While some think unbelievers may be turned off, don't turn off the show just yet. Often in the midst of personal mess, ministry happens. And in this case, entertainment will walk hand-in-hand with it. I reached out to cast member, formerly of Xscape and now first lady of Emmanuel Tabernacle, Ivy Couch. Listen in to her response for critics but her message for why the show may be a platform to reach people - outside a traditional pulpit. This conversation is fun, real, raw - and reveals a personal reason why I believe some will be drawn to this show.
