THE WHIP! / My man's kids are disrespecting me - What should I do?
Posted 3/29/2009 6:14:00 PM
Dear Alex J,
I'm in a relationship with a man who has 3 kids. When it's just him and I, things are fine, but when his "rug-rats" come to visit, then tensions quickly rises between us, because he acts like he's afraid to step in and discipline them when they argue, misbehave, or totally disrespect me!
He always downplays my concern by telling me that I need to have more patience, because he doesn't want the kids to run and tell their mother "OUR BUSINESS" and he's trying to keep the peace with the kid's mother.
I admire my man for wanting to stay and be a part of his kid's lives but am I wrong for not caring about what their momma thinks?
Sincerely,
If girlfriend's not happy - then NObody's happy

8.2 seconds is all a man needs to.....

Fall in Love.
The "Archives of Sexual Behavior," an academic peer-reviewed journal in sexology, reported that a man could be in love after just 8.2 seconds of staring at a woman, but if his gaze lasts just four seconds, he may not be all that impressed.
However the same is not true for women. They let their eyes linger on men for the same length of time whether they find them attractive or not.
Researchers believe that men use eye contact to seek out mates, while women are more wary of attracting unwanted attention.
Are you the type of person that falls in love at first sight?

Dear Alex J
Why are most couple's relationships fun and exciting, while mine are always dull, unfulfilled, and boring?
Sincerely,
Envious of another's affection
