First of all, I gotta thank God for this beautiful weather outside lately! I got sunshine......I digress lol! Well, usually when the weather starts warming up, you start to think about Spring and then you start to think about Summer. And when you think about Summer, you think about the Summer Jam baby! I talked to some friends before about what my favorite concert was and that was the Hard Knock Life tour with Jay-Z, DMX, and Method Man/Redman. By the way, I did see that show at Kemper Arena here in KC! But if I could pick three people to see at a concert, who would it be? Well of course I would have to start with Nas! Gotta have my favorite rapper at the show right? lol! My second performer would prolly be Mary J Blige since she is one of my favorite singers and even though some ...

As the Winter Olympics ended last night in Vancouver, I was still amazed by the hockey game I watched earlier between USA and Canada. I was also amazed by how many black people were in the Winter Olympics and quite frankly, there wasn't many there. Big shoutout to Shani Davis who represented the USA on the speedskating team by the way! The reason why I'm blogging about this is the fact that black people need to expand their mindset and try new things. We all think we have to play basketball or football or run track or rap or whatever the case is that people associate black people with. Now I know Black History Month expired last month but how about making some new history? I would like to see us participate in skiing like the man from Ghana or better yet competing with Shaun White in snowboarding in 2014. ...

So by now I'm sure you saw the Tiger Wood's press statement or whatever you wanna call it. Although I felt like he didn't owe me an apology, I'm glad he at least took the first step in getting his life back and more importantly got to see him and hear him publicly for the first time since November. Now that he did apologize to the public, what else do you want from him? Today's society is so messed up, we look at other people's lives and try to compare theirs to our lives. The reality is they do live in a different world and space than we do. Let me ask you this: When was the last time you went to the grocery store and people were harrassing you for an autograph? How bout the last time you went to the club and 4 or 5 girls came up ...
