Your Hair...Or Your Health?

Of course, the flick "Good Hair" hits local theaters today.  But how many women have the good hair but are in bad physical shape? I am not talking about being skinny but physical inactivity puts us at high risks for many health conditions. From cancers to stroke, lack of excercise can have a negative impact on your life. But yes...I know you just got your hair done, right?
 
Are you guilty of skipping exercise in the name of maintaining your hairstyle? About a third of Black women cite complications of hair care as the reason they do not exercise or exercise less than needed. In fact, I remember a friend of mine wanting to get in tip-top shape. When I told her start going to the gym, she exclaimed, "What about my hair?!"
