What's up!? It's the weekend baaaaabbbyyy! So here is a little heat for your entertainment pleasure.
Kim Kardashian has been granted a restraining order against an alleged stalker who is delusional and believes he's dating her. Dennis Shaun Bowman began sending her Twitter messages last fall, professing his love for her, she says. He then moved from Georgia to Kim's city of Calabasas, California, to be near her, according to the document. This fool believes he's in a relationship with Kimmie, turned up at the her appearances in L.A., sometimes wearing joker face paint. He even sent a Twitter message to her boyfriend, NFL star Reggie Bush, looking for a fight. Fool, are crazy?! Well...yes. He also tweeted her to ask forgiveness for missing an imaginary dinner date planned in Atlanta. Under the restraining order, apparently recommended by LAPD's Threat Management unit, dude must stay 500 yards away from Kimmie and stop contacting her.
The ex-girlfriend of Matt Kemp -- the L.A. Dodger who is currently dating Rihanna -- is HOT out at Kemp's people, claiming they are lying about a relationship that was abusive and threatening. David D. Diamond, Felisha Terrell's attorney, tells TMZ he's ticked off that Matt's agent is now saying ol' girl lied in her 2008 restraining order application against him. Felisha claimed he was verbally abusive and threatening, but both sides ultimately agreed to drop the matter. When news of the restraining surfaced earlier this week, his agent had said, "She chose to file a complaint and shortly thereafter, on her own accord, decided to drop it based on the fact that the statements made within were false." Now, Mr. Diamond says his client never lied: "The temporary restraining order was granted because of an actual and real threat. The matter was quietly resolved until Mr. Kemp's agent began making false public statements....my hope is that Ms. Terrell tells her story, because it is a compelling tale of betrayal, abuse and survival." He nor Rihanna have made comment, but tongues are wagging he has indeed had some past female troubles. Snitches tell MTO Matt and a group of his High School basketball teammates at Midwest City High School in Oklahoma were staying at a hotel after a game and came upon a 19 year old woman. It is questioned whether or not he was involved in sexual misconduct - no charges were filed.
Nelly will be an interviewer for ESPN the Magazine at the 6th annual NEXT event. Nelly will interview various athletes and entertainers as the VIP red carpet interviewer at NEXT, which takes place at the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach, Florida on February 5. Yep, Superbowl 44 Weekend! Big ups to Nelly testing his TV skills!
Do you remember 90's rapper Apache? He was a part of Queen Latifah's Flavor Unit, kind of a one-hit wonder known for "Gangsta B**. Vin from Naughty by Nature told MTV, "I got a call from Shakim [Compere], Queen Latifah's manager...He was really feeling it. He told me, and I spread the word to Kay and Treach and the rest of our camp." Word is Apache was found Friday in his home by his brother. Those close to him said he'd shown no signs of illness. One of his boys says it was just suddenly, having just spoken to him Wednesday night. Apache's final plans? Apache had planned to be married in the near future.
Hip Hop couple Jay-z and Beyonce were spotted leaving the Hope For Haiti benefit last night after performing during the telethon that aired on all major networks. The telethon, put together by George Clooney, hopes to raise millions for the earthquake survivors in Haiti. George Clooney pledged $1 million of his own money as well as Leonardo DiCaprio.Donations are still being accepted at hopeforhaitinow.org or by calling 1-877-99-HAITI. The Obamas have donated $15,000 of their own money to the Haiti relief efforts. Got to love the prez for that!
Speaking of that event, Kanye West was NOT banned from Friday’s “Hope For Haiti” telethon, as reported yesterday. Internet rumors claimed that West, 32, was not invited to participate because he criticized then-President Bush during a televised 2005 Concert for Hurricane Relief (“George Bush doesn’t care about black people,” he said) and for interrupting Taylor Swift’s 2009 MTV Video Music Awards speech. “Kayne has to make everything about himself. He will do anything to steal the spotlight and, well, this night it’s just not about him,” a source told Popeater. An MTV rep says, “That’s absolutely not true. We DID reach out to Kanye." No word on why he couldn't make it but Kanye and his boo Amber Rose were spotted at Milan Fashion Week. Wow. Their sense of style...interesting.
And from the " What Happened Next" file: Remember Flava of Love Bootz & Deelishis? Well, Deelishis revealed in Sister 2 Sister mag Bootz got married and is pregnant with her second baby. While Deelishis and Detroit nightclub owner Orlando (she met him after she broke up with Busta Rhymes - yes!) are now married. The two are having a girl already named Lexington Brielle. Deelishis still has her jeans line and got a gig: a radio show in Detroit! Normal life does exist after reality tv!
