are you a big fan really?

I liked a lot of things growing up, but I was never a fanatic about any of it. I liked Reggie Jackson, Evil Kenivel, Michael Jackson, Farah Fawcitt and The Dukes of Hazard and such, but I wasn't the type to put up posters or walk around with a glitter glove or sleep out over night to be the first in line to see a new movie.
Not judging or anything just don't know when people draw the line between admiration and obsession? At this very moment there are people all over the world dressed as their favorite vampire from the Twilight movie waiting to see the new film from the popular series of books.
Who knows maybe I'm missing out.
Oh the weather outside is frightful

Man I know it's inevitable, & it's just another day of living in this part of the country, but I am so not ready!!!! Had an ugly reminder as I was coming to work this afternoon, I was trailing three MODOT trucks and with the weather changing today that's not a good sign.
Yes SNOW, SNOW is on the way! Nothing accumulating as of yet but this is only the beginning. And depending on who you talk to the mild summer we had could mean a very long snowy winter. Winter time in Kansas City is gorgeous provided you can look out the window and see it & not have to get out & drive in it.
Which is not an option for most of us, so I guess preparing for it is all we can do, sealing off those drafty windows and doors, stocking up on fire wood & ...
stupid is as stupid does I guess

The list of athletes & entertainers that just don't seem to get how blessed they are just continues to get bigger. I'm almost starting to believe the old adage "more money more problems" or then again, maybe there are just some simple minded ass people out there that don't know how to separate themselves from the non sense in the name of keeping it real.
Now I'm starting to wonder if your going to keep doing the same hood mess that has kept you in & out of the system all of your life anyway, why bother even getting a record deal or sports contract in the first place if your only gonna blow it?
it just sucks that all the wrong people get these opportunities & blow them for the sake of being "down"
It's the most wonderful time of the year

Ok it's that time of the year, an I'm very excited! One because Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of all, secondly I LOVE CHRISTMAS MUSIC!!!!!!! I listen to it year round so of course I get the stank eye from a lot of folks, but I don't care I'm a big nerd & always have been.
Huge fan of most all of the Christmas & holiday shows that come on TV this time of the year, so if you see me & I'm extra happy, or you pull up next to me in traffic & I'm jamming a little extra hard it's just the Christmas music.
So grab a verse & sing along, besides that's the best part of a good Christmas song, singing with friends!
Told you I was a nerd :-)
This is It

The UK was defiantly in for an amazing string of shows this past summer, too bad the worlds greatest entertainer didn't live to perform the 50 shows that were sold out at London's 02 arena. However over this Halloween weekend "Michael Jackson's This is it" the footage shot during rehearsals for the before mentioned concerts hit the big screen & of course was the number 1 movie across the globe bringing in over $60 million.
Being a Michael fan I myself have seen the movie 4 times myself this weekend and plan to see it a few more times. Though marketing of the film leeds you to believe it's some sort of documentary about the last few days of his life when actually it's pretty much Mike in concert giving a glimpse into what was in store for London for those 50 shows.
& man what an AMAZING SHOW! His ...
