WHERE ARE THE PARENTS????????

A few months ago I talked about a fight between some teenagers that I rode up on at a 7 Eleven at Linwood and Gilliham. It was at least 75 kids out there, some fighting and some watching. I could'nt believe how many people were out there. The thing I asked myself was, did these kids parents know where they were. Probably not. PARENTS WE NEED TO DO A BETTER JOB AT KNOWING WHERE ARE KIDS ARE!!!!!!!! I have a 17 year old daughter, and I'm always asking her where she's going and who's she with. Yeah, I hear the frustration in her voice when I asked.....BUT....oh well. I'm the parent. I don't know what I would do if something happened to her and she was a innocent bystander while out with some of her friends. Below is a story and video of a teenage boy killed in Illinois as a brawl took place near a high school. The fight was caught on video by a student. CAUTION!!!!!!!!!

PARENTS...PLEASE TEACH YOUR KIDS, THAT IF THEY ARE IN A SITUATION LIKE THIS...DON'T STAND AROUND TO SEE THE FIGHT....RUN AWAY FROM THE FIGHT.

Well even though my 15 year old smells herself I'm in her business nonstop. I dont do friends over my house, very selective and you have to be that type of parent. Its very important to have rules and regulations for your children to follow. Activities after school. Also take your child or children out of Missouri and Kansas for a getaway, just so they know that there is much more out there to see then the streets of KC. Its very encouraging for a child to experience new things in life, it helps them to dream and set goals to accomplish. But, when a child is around so much negativity he or she is doomed to become a victim of the streets. Talk to them, heart to heart, keep it 100. Whatever Ive been through in my life, I have spoken with my child about. You have to be closer to your kids because the more you distance yourself from them, somebody else is planting negative seeds in their heads..And they will grow. Think about it.

we suppose to be lovein and lookin after each other but instead we killin each other .... all I'm sayin is us young people need to get it together quick fast & in a hurry ... the sad part is that innocent people are killed just by being in the wrong place at the worng time !!! K.C. get it together
