Alamo Drafthouse SUMMER KIDS CAMP 2013
Summer Kids Camp screenings, a series of films programmed specifically for families. Families head to their local Alamo to spend quality time together in air-conditioned, entertainment bliss!
All admission is Summer Kids Camp films is 100% free.
Additionally, you will be able to use the H&R Block Parking Garage located at 13th and Main Street. The garage will be FREE OF CHARGE after 12pm on Saturday, and all day Sunday! The only time this garage will be closed is during Sprint Center Events. Cosentino’s Parking Garage offers $2 parking on Saturdays and FREE PARKING on Sunday with validation from Alamo Drafthouse.

Summer Kids Camp screenings are open to ages 3 and up. Please, no infants (check out Baby Day screenings instead, parents). All children must be accompanied by an adult. Reserved seating is unavailable for these showtimes. A ticket must be picked up at the box office before entering the theater. Our regular “No Talking” policy is still in effect, so noisy families may be asked to leave.

Sports Fest 2013 | Teaming Up For Kids
It’s all about kids who need our help! - SportsFest helps to fund the nearly 2,000 children and youth who will participate in the Clubs’ youth sports programs this year, which include swimming, baseball (RBI), basketball, wrestling, soccer, weight training, track & field, golf, and our daily nutrition program. Help us ensure that youth who need us most have the opportunity to play organized sports, while learning life skills that will carry them far into the future! Your support will help boys and girls get off the sidelines and in on the action - and ensure the continued impact of Boys & Girls Clubs programming throughout our community. 100% of the proceeds from SportsFest stay right here in the community and help local Boys & Girls Club youth sports programs all year long.

Pit Bull Day, Sponsored by Chain of Hope
Do you own a pit bull? Get your pit bull healthy, happy and ready for summer. Bring your pit bull to Pit Bull Day at Swope Park - Shelter 3 on Saturday, June 29 from 12pm-3pm, sponsored by Chain of Hope. Chain of Hope will provide $10 city tags, on-site $5 vaccinations and FREE microchips*, flea & fly control, collars, tie-out cables, water buckets, dog food and toe nail clipping. During the event, sign-up for a free spay or neuter. Veterinarians and professional dog trainers will be on-site for free consultations. All dogs must be on a leash.
*Free microchips will only be available to spayed or neutered pit bulls. Please bring your spay paperwork with you to the event to receive a free microchip. If your pit bull is not spayed or neutered, you can sign-up for a free spay or neuter at the Pit Bull Day event. You will receive a free microchip at the time of spay/neuter appointment.
Limited supply of free items. Arrive on-time!
This will be a highly educational event for inner city pit bull dog owners. Chain of Hope will offer:
- free spay/neuter sign-ups
- $5 vaccinations
- $10 city licenses
- free microchips to all pit bulls that are already spayed and neutered
- free microchips at the time of spay/neuter for those that are not altered yet
- free tie-out cables to get dogs off of heavy tow chains
- free collars
- free flea control
- free fly control
- free water buckets
- free toe nail clippings
