So a friend of mines on Facebook posted on his status how all these wack rappers have been going to jail lately. Now I had to laugh at first because for one, the rappers he had to be talking bout were Lil Boosie, Lil Wayne, and now Gucci Mane. I laughed because I wouldn't consider them wack rappers, I actually like those rappers even though I can see why people wouldn't like them too. But then I stopped laughing when I actually thought bout why are these rappers going to jail more often now. I mean, we used to laugh when rappers got arrested because we know they wouldn't go to jail. Snoop beat a charge, Puffy, Jay-Z, etc. Now this year alone you got T.I., Lil Boosie, Lil Wayne, Gucci Mane, C-Murder(again), and then athletes Plaxico Burress JR Smith and Donte Stallworth. Seriously, I wanna know what happened to Lauryn Hill! I used to crack lil jokes on her like she was on crack or something, but now it isn't funny anymore. Even DMX is making some sort of comeback with all the stuff he's been through. But Lauryn Hill? Last time I checked, she was the hottest thing singing and rapping when she stepped away from the Fugees. Now I couldn't tell you a song she sung! Ok, that might be a lil exaggeration but then again, do you even know the name of her last cd? Better yet, can you name the last time she recorded a song! Last time I heard from her was when the Fugees did a song when they were discussing a reunion. Yes, I know she has a family. Yes, I know this music game is crazy nowadays. Everybody has their opinion on Larry Johnson and what the Chiefs should do with him regarding his comments on Twitter about Todd Haley and then using derogatory slang used against homosexuals when responding to some comments left from people on his Twitter page. I been saying that Twitter is gonna get sone people in trouble and this is the perfect example of watching what you say at times. Larry Johnson shouldn't be a Chief anymore. Quite frankly, he shouldn't have came back after what happened last year if you ask me. But the question I have is what does it take for some of these cats to lose a job? You mean you can slap women around the town, talk down on the coach, and then use derogatory slang towards fans ans still get a check for a cool million? That wouldn't be a good look for the Chiefs. I was thinking bout Juvenile since we're playing his new song "Gotta Get It" and I remember when the song "Ha" came out. Remember the first time you heard that song? I thought it was the funniest song in the world! And I thought he was trying to be funny on purpose! Lol! And then I realized, he wasn't playing! Which in time became one of the most catchiest songs in hip-hop. I mean, how many people tried to mimick that song and say ha after every sentence now ha? Lol! I remember talking bad bout Juvenile when that first got played that summer in Dallas of 1997. Now Juvenile is one of my favorite rappers and that cd 400 Degrees is a classic to me.
