JT Quick

JT Quick can be heard weekdays from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. He is also the
host of the "Hot 8 at 8" Kansas City's #1 rated radio program. JT comes to
Kansas City from San Jose, California. He got his start in radio because
someone told him he was too young be an on-air personality, he proved
otherwise. His first time on the air at age 14 was due to an on-air
personality who didn't show up for work. He was handed the microphone and
open air, and was told, "You're on!". JT has been "on" for years. He is
the voice for "Club Jamz!", to get you going on Friday and Saturday nights
and is a nationally recognized DJ performing for LL Cool J, Def Comedy
Jam, BET Comic View, and countless other shows. He has been booked
world-wide including venues in Germany, Italy, and even South Africa. JT's
excitement for his career and the community has continuously put his show
at number one in his time slot! Outside of the radio station JT likes to
read, exercise, work on classic cars, design web sites, and learn new
things. He spends time with his wife Mollie, and their two "children",
pugs -- Miles and Maddie. JT lives by these words, "A life lived without
passion, is truly not living at all!" |
