First off, shout out to our local Grammy nominees – producer Anthony “White Did It” White and minister and musician Bishop Cortez Vaughn. Promise this won’t be the last time we see them at music biggest night, on the list of contenders.
While I loved me some Kung Fu Kenny, I was surprised that Jay Z was completely shut out. The big winner was Bruno Mars, who won six of the six Grammys he was nominated for. Kendrick Lamar won four out of the seven he was nominated for. Something else I noticed?
Women didn’t walk away with big wins. What’s up with that?
