Drake and Cardi B Dominate AMA’s and BET Hip Hop Awards

Drake and Cardi B lead all artists at the 2018 American Music Awards, with eight nominations — and  top the list of nominees for the American Music Awards as well.

 

For the American Music Awards the two compete in the category for Favorite Artist Rap/Hip-Hop. “Bodak Yellow,” and “God’s Plan” from Scorpion, are also both up for Favorite Song Rap/Hip-Hop and Favorite Music Video. The 2018 American Music Awards will air live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on October 9 at7pm. black-ish star Tracee Ellis Ross will host for the second year in a row.
