Google has released its annual list of top-searched artists, movies, actors, and in the “Musicians and Bands” category, hip-hop’s Eminem, Travis Scott, Rick Ross, Cardi B, Childish Gambino, Machine Gun Kelly and Meek Mill are among the most Googled of the year.
The highly publicized beef between Slim Shady and MGK likely fueled interest in both parties, and Scott had a baby with reality television star Kylie Jenner, dropped a No. 1 album called Astroworld, launched the Astroworld: Wish You Were Here Tour.
In the film category, Black Panther and Venom make the list, while tragic deaths of Mac Miller and XXXTENTACION top the list as well.
Top song searches included Childish Gambino’s “This Is America” and Drake’s “God’s Plan.”
