Are you a teen? Or are you a parent of one? Either way, this is an opportunity you don’t want to miss!

How about a summer job or internship that provides academic credit, experience in various sectors and a paycheck? Maybe even a checking and savings account?

It’s possible for Kansas City teens thanks to the Working For Youth Initiative. KC Common Good, Hire KC, and Entrepreneurship KC have partnered for this endeavor. With the support and endorsement of Mayor Quinton Lucas, this program will expand employment opportunities to young people in Kansas City.

Thalia Cherry, founder and CEO of Cherry Co., who launched Entrepreneurship KC gives us all the deets on the program. Application deadline is May 22nd. Get more at workingforyouth.org.
