BET has announced the nominees for the 2022 Soul Train Awards, taking place, Sunday, November 13th in Las Vegas. Actor, comedian and writer Deon Cole will serve as host, celebrating the best in soul, R&B, and hip hop.
The official Soul Train Awards nominees are selected by a voting academy of esteemed music industry insiders, performers, and presenters. Beyoncé and Mary J. Blige lead the nominations with seven nods each. Ari Lennox garnered the second most nods with six nominations, while Lizzo and Chris Brown earned five nods each. Burna Boy, Muni Long and Steve Lacy have four nominations, and Bruno Mars, Anderson .Paak, Silk Sonic, PJ Morton and Tems each garnered three nominations.
The show premieres Sunday, November 27th at 8 pm ET/PT on BET and BET Her.
