Generation Rap Show: The Gift of Giving-Sat. Dec. 5

The Holiday Season has once again come around. The temperature is falling, the Christmas trees are rising and spirits are being filled with Joy. But, we must not forget about the most important gift of all which is “The Gift of Giving.” This Saturday Generation Rap is all about giving back to the community and making sure everyone in Kansas City can have a wonderful Holiday. All around Kansas City Santa’s Elves have been decking the halls with signs of the season. From food drives, to handing out coats to the less fortunate, to taking in an extra family during this season of happiness and holidays. So while your snuggled on the couch, sipping at hot cocoa, admiring the Christmas lights as your favorite holiday special plays in the background, just remember their will be so much more joy to come by spreading the wealth.

This week’s show is all about “The Gift of Giving.” Here in Kansas City we are more fortunate than some cities yet poverty is still in place. Which is why we are stirring up a wonderful conversation on being thankful and learning how to spread joy this holiday season with donations. Our Spotlight guest will be Suburban Balance which is an organization that focuses on developing African American Youth in suburban areas. We will also have Harvesters, Giving Hope and Help, and many more. Be sure to tune in this Saturday at 8a.m. to hear what wonderful things the people of Kansas City are doing this Holiday Season to make sure we all can have a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year. Just as Rudolph this weekends show, shall go down in history.

Tune in this Saturday and every Saturday to Generation Rap on HOT 103 JAMZ (KPRS) at 8a.m. to hear teens speak their mind!
