On Friday, July 13, 2018 at 5:12pm, Hot 103 Jamz will announce the names of the Top 10 semi-finalists, who will perform live at the 2018 KC’s Next Music Showcase, Volume 2.
The Top 10 semi-finalists will be interviewed July 16 – 20, 2018 on Hot 103 Jamz.
One Grand Prize: The Ultimate Artist Treatment Package:
One grand prize winner will receive 10 hours of recording time at the world famous Strange Music Headquarters, mastering of up to 3 songs provided by 64111 Studio and 6 weeks of airplay during Underground Heat on Hot 103 Jamz! The Ultimate Artist Treatment Package will be awarded to one finalist at the 2018 Hot 103 Music Conference on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the Voo Doo inside Harrah’s Casino.
You must be 18 and older to enter. There are no contest fees to enter the 2018 KC’s Next Music Showcase, Volume 2.

SUBMISSION INFO:
- Demos must be submitted between Monday, June 11 and ends 5pm, Monday, July 9, 2018
- A maximum of 3 demos including the vocal and instrumental versions will be allowed
- Each demo must be 4 minutes maximum. All demos must be original content, no profanity, no offensive content and contains no samples.
- Must provide bio, headshot image (jpeg, png or pdf), social media links (Twitter, Instagram & Facebook) and a link to your YouTube Page (optional)

CONSENT FORM OPTIONS
In order to qualify to be one of the Top 10 semi-finalists for the 2018 KC’s Next Music, Volume 2, you must download the official rules for the showcase, sign, send back and submit the following:
- Entry form and demos (MP3 Format) can be emailed until 5:00 p.m. (CST), Monday, July 9, 2018 to submission103@gmail.com
- Entry form and demos (CD Format) can be mailed by U.S. Mail, postage prepaid and postmarked by 5pm, Monday, July 9, 2018 in care of: 2018 KC’s Next Music Showcase, Volume 2, 11131 Colorado Avenue, Kansas City, MO 64137
- Entry form and demos can be delivered to the Carter Broadcast Group until 5pm, Monday, July 9, 2018 during business hours, 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday.
- All demos must include the name of the Act, valid address and telephone for an authorized representative of the Act.
- All music submissions must be accompanied by a signed consent form. No exceptions.
