Remembering Trayvon Martin

Today will be the sixth year anniversary of Trayvon Martin’s death, and today I still can’t come to grips with how he was murdered and more importantly, how George Zimmerman is still free in the streets with nothing happening to him. By the way, I wonder what Martin would have to say about the gun violence that’s going on in the world today, including what happened in Parkland, FL if he was alive today. His name still reminds us as people, especially black people, that we have a long ways to go to solving not only gun violence, but also how to coexist in this country in 2018.
