Cardi B Turns Herself In To NYPD After Fight At Strip Club; Charged With Endangerment And Assault

Cardi B turned herself in to New York police on Monday over a fight at a strip club. The rapper, whose real name is Belcalis Almanzar, surrendered at the 109 Precinct in Queens on Monday. The New York Police Department told media that Cardi was charged with two misdemeanors counts of reckless endangerment and one misdemeanor count of assault. Cardi was involved in an altercation at Angels Gentlemen’s Club in Queens on Aug. 29. Sources said that Cardi has “long-standing beef” with a bartender at the club, with whom she allegedly started the fight. A spokesperson for NYPD said that Cardi “threw a chair at an unintended target.” No warrant for the former reality star’s arrest had been issued, but Cardi was wanted for the incident. A Queens District Attorney spokesperson said that a court date in the case is scheduled for October 29.
