Mary J. Blige shared on Instagram Live with D-Nice that her 14th studio album will be released in November. Blige told D-Nice while she was at a studio:  “It’s about to go crazy over here.”  Blige also revealed that the first single is set to drop sometime in October.

Blige’s upcoming album is the follow-up to 2017’s ‘Strength of a Woman,’ which included the single “Thick of It.” While the upcoming project is still under wraps, Blige has been spotted in the studio with DJ Camper (Brandy, Tamar Braxton), Blush Writes (K. Michelle, Chris Brown), Prince Charlez (Rihanna, Beyoncé), and Murda Beatz (Migos, Drake).

Blige will also be reprising her role as Monet Tejada in ‘Power Book II: Ghost’. Season 2 is set to premiere on Sunday, November 21, 2021, on Starz.
