This Monday, January 16th, as celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., for the first time, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated’s Kansas City Metropolitan Graduate Chapters partner to host the “We Are One: AKA Day of Service.” All of the activities will take place in the Historic 18 & Vine District, at the Black Archives of Mid-America. The day kicks off with a Unity Walk and includes other components to serve our community. There will also be a food and winter coat drive, followed by a free first-time homebuyers seminar.
