KC metro voters will head to the polls to vote on local issues, including Question 1 on the marijuana tax, city council races and school board seats. But how do we learn more about what is on the ballot, especially those running to represent us in our communities?
The League of Women Voters of Kansas City/Jackson, Clay & Platte Counties and the Social Justice Committees for Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated have teamed up to promote candidate forums for the upcoming election. The first virtual event takes place tonight, featuring 4th and 5th District City Council candidates, moderated by Fox 4’s Christel Bell.
