May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Did you know close to 450 million people worldwide are currently living with a mental illness? This includes bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, schizophrenia and post-traumatic stress disorder, to name a few.

But a common mental health disorder that may be overlooked by some is anxiety.
Anxiety disorders are the most common of mental health issues, impacting nearly 30% of adults at some point in their lives. While momentary anxiety is normal and expected, when it becomes chronic and affects your everyday life, it is time to seek help.
