Last month, Cudi announced that he’d become a new Star Trek brand ambassador, and now he has shared the new Star Trek-inspired song “Heaven’s Galaxy”, which channels Cudi’s lifetime passion for the franchise as part of the Star Trek “Boldly Be” campaign.
‘Heaven’s Galaxy’ sees Cudi teaming up with longtime collaborator Dot Da Genius, with the track kickstarting New York Comic Con where fans were able to visit a special ‘Star Trek x Kid Cudi Booth’, featuring a new capsule collection and provides a first look at the Fortnite gaming experience. The collection consists of tees, crewnecks, hoodies, a custom button-up t-shirt, and a colorful leather varsity jacket with robust chenille and embroidery details.
Star Trek x Kid Cudi: Mirror Mayhem brings Kid Cudi and the worlds of Star Trek and Fortnite together perform his new Star Trek-themed music collaboration “Heaven’s Galaxy” as well as never-before-heard songs from his new album Insano. The capsule collection launched exclusively for Comic-Con attendees October 12-15, while the global drop kicked-off on October 16th at shop.kidcudi.com.
