I am honored to be a part of – and excited – about what is happening in Kansas City/Overland Park this week. Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. will host their 94th Mid-West Regional Conference at the Sheraton Overland Park Hotel Convention Center, March 14th – 17th. This year’s theme “A Jazzy Pink Print in the City of Fountains.” This event promises a vibrant atmosphere and engaging activities, while aiming to leave a lasting impact on the community.
Nearly 1,000 members of the oldest Black sorority, founded in 1908, will be in attendance. Our organization is committed to community service, sisterhood, education and scholarship initiatives. By supporting various events, you help that mission.
Teesha Thomas, 94th Mid-Western Regional Conference Chairman from Kansas City’s Xi Tau Omega Chapter is on the line to share more about the conference and various public events, open to all of our local communities.
