
In recognition of Black Maternal Health Week, join the Kansas Birth Equity Network for the discussion “Centering Black Mental Health: A Conversation on Mental Health & Parenting”. It takes place tomorrow, Saturday, April 13 from 10:30am-2:00pm at KCKCC Technical Education Center. The keynote address will be given by Dr. Traci Johnson, OBGYN and Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist.
This free event will be a robust conversation on mental health and the Black birthing and parenting experience for everyone in the community. Lunch will be provided, and you will also have the opportunity to connect with Black Owned Businesses and other community resources. Childcare is available as well. This event is a hybrid event.
