Giving Hope & Help is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that supports domestic violence survivors, provides essential resources to end period poverty, empowers college bound and non-traditional students and inspires cancer patients. With October being Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Carter Broadcast Group and Giving Hope & Help are collaborating for the 2nd Annual Stop & Drop Feminine Hygiene Products Drive, Saturday, October 19, 2024, 12 noon until 3 p.m. at Swope Health, 3801 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, Kansas City, Missouri 64130.
Listeners and supporters are encouraged to drive in, stop and drop off hygiene product donations including new pads, tampons, menstrual cups, feminine wash, children’s and women’s packaged socks and underwear, individually wrapped feminine wipes and panty liners and more. The items collected at the drive benefit Giving Hope & Help and distributed to local domestic violence shelters and partnering organizations.
