The city’s most refreshing grassroots campaign is back from at St. James United Methodist Church, Hydrate KC with “Hydration Nation 2025.” Hydrate KC consists of citywide distribution and awareness throughout the summer providing free bottled water, hydration resources, and community support to those most vulnerable to summer heat throughout various areas of the metro.
Founded in 2022 by Community Activist and Executive Director of Creative Innovative Anton Washington, Hydrate KC began as a response to rising homelessness, public health crises, and extreme heat emergencies in underserved communities.
