Today, the Kansas City Defender has announced the forthcoming “Fountain City Files”, a survivor-centered, trauma-informed KC podcast releasing December 2025. It’s purposely aligned with Timothy M. Haslett Jr.’s Dec 1 trial in Clay County for the murder of Jaynie Crosdale. Before the murder charge, Haslett was already facing nine other charges, including felony rape, kidnapping, and two counts of assault, after a 22-year-old woman allegedly escaped from his Excelsior Springs home.
