Carter Media (Hot 103 Jamz) and St. James Church KC (formerly St. James United Methodist Church) are hosting its 1st “Loads of Love” Laundry Products Drive this Saturday, September 20, from 12 noon to 4 p.m., inside the Walmart Supercenter, located at 10300 E. Highway 350, in Raytown, Missouri 64138.
CM and SJCKC will accept new laundry detergent (liquid, pods, or powder), fabric softener, bleach, stain remover, and laundry bags to benefit local school-based laundry programs in the Kansas City area. Laundry programs at schools provide vital support, especially for at-risk students, by improving attendance and academic performance through increased confidence and access to clean clothing.
